Nata nel 1958 a Novi Sad (Voivodina) vivo da molti anni in Italia;
ho abitato a Milano e Firenze prima di trasferirmi a Verona dove attualmente vivo.

Gli anni ‘80 a Firenze sono stati un periodo di ricerca teatrale
nell'ambito del "Teatro del Corpo" teorizzato da Jerzy Grotowski
e vissuto attraverso l'animazione di corsi d'espressione corporea e training teatrale.
Il colore c’è sempre stato per me ma è alla fine degli anni ’90,
dopo un viaggio a Parigi, che inizio una sperimentazione con il colore steso
prevalentemente su tavola insieme all'uso a volte di legni raccolti nel bosco,
lungo il fiume o il mare, per la forma, il colore, la piacevolezza al tatto.

Natura, colore, ritmo: dipingere come seguire un sentiero
senza sapere dove mi porterà,
senza decidere prima dove mi porterà;
è viaggiare come piace a me,
da nomade senza legami.

Born in Novi Sad, hungarian-croat family origin, I currently reside and work in Verona, Italy, by many years after spent long periods in Milan and Florence.

At the beginning of the eighties, living in Florence, I was greatly impressed and attracted by Jerzy Grotowski's philosophy and his Theatre Laboratory and I dedicated myself entirely to body art very rapidly; between 1980 and 1983, I played in Shakespeare Suite by Ugo Chiti; ran some training courses of body and theatral expression in Montevarchi and San Giovanni Valdarno; wrote and directed Dialoghi – Omaggio a Cesare Pavese, performed within Leggere il Cielo, a theatral exhibition held in San Giovanni Valdarno.

Colours have been always fascinating me and thanks to the power of suggestion of the contemporary art I discovered and admired at Pompidou Centre in Paris, at the end of the nineties, I began experimenting something with them.
The drawing and painting courses I attended in Verona under the guidance of Fausta Panzieri and the sculptress Piera Legnaghi have been of crucial importance to educate my hands and my eyes.

Nevertheless, it was Erika Mantice, the painter who founded La Galleria del Manifesto, unfortunately passed away, the artist more than others influenced my artistic education and supported me by true friendship, large experience and useful advices; Erika encouraged and convinced me of going beyond the consideration of painting as a hobby of mine and exhibiting my works and my artistic research beside myself, to all the people.
