Inizia la sua attività espositiva nel 1975, tenendo numerose collettive e personali in Italia e all’estero.

Nel 2003 ha ricevuto il premio “Fiori di Sicilia”.

• Personale a Venezia 8-24 luglio 2004 - Galleria Venezia Viva;

• Ha partecipato alla Biennale Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea - Fortezza da Basso -1-9 Dicembre2007;

• Nel Luglio 2008 è stata invitata dall’Istituto Italiano della Cultura di Budapest a tenere una Personale a Budapest presso il Centro Culturale di Duna Palota;

• E’ stata invitata a partecipare all’evento patrocinato dal Comune di Arcevia : AR(t)CEVIA INTERNATIONAL ART FESTIVAL 19 luglio - 5 ottobre 2008. RE-MIX 4 ottobre - 2 novembre 2008;

• Personale di ceramica Raku presso il B&Art di Palermo a Palazzo Resuttano-29-30-31 Ottobre 2008.

Silvana Lunetta was born in Caltanissetta (Italy) in 1946 where she still lives and works. Her studio is in Via Faletra 44 – Caltanissetta.
She taught in Scuola Media, promoting art therapy for disabled students.
She followed engraving courses at the International Graphic Centre in Venice, her teachers were Nicola Sene and Riccardo Licata, and ceramic courses in Florence and Faenza, where she practiced the Raku technique.
She has been exhibiting her paintings in Italy and abroad since 1975: Caltanissetta, Palerme, Florence, Venice, Trieste, Cecina, Livorno, Buenos Aires.
She was often awarded prizes. In 2003 she won a prize “ Fiori Siciliani” (Sicilian Flowers). In 2007 she took part in the International Biennal Exhibition of Contemporary Arts in Florence.
You can find her paintings in public and private art galleries.
The most outstanding critics have written essays about her on newspapers and specialized magazines.
