"The Art of Reflection: Patterns and Reflections in glass, arises out of living in an urban environment where manmade monoliths burst forth from the city concrete, reflecting and refracting the scenes that surround them, creating art in patterns, colors and textures by distorting and contorting images into something other than what they are. What is reflected back forms unique patterns and reflections in the glass of the windows of the buildings of a city. I find these the patterns, forms and textures art, and so I try to frame them in my minds eye and capture them in my photos. And as the earth makes its way around the sun, the image changes and by nightfall is something else entirely or disappeared completely, until the next sunrise when the building becomes a canvas for artistic reflection once again. As much as I love the beauty that nature creates in landscapes, manmade beauty can be found not only in the geometry of architecture but in the reflections you can find on any building on any day of any city if you just look with a different perspective. I am a fine art and freelance photographer living and working in Chicago, Illinois, USA".

Para ella, The Art of Reflection: Patterns and Reflections in glass surge de vivir en un entorno urbano donde los monolitos hechos por el hombre brotan del hormigón de la ciudad, reflejando y refractando las escenas que los rodean, creando arte en patrones, colores y texturas por distorsionando y contorsionando las imágenes en algo distinto de lo que son. ¿Qué se refleja de vuelta forma patrones y reflejos únicos en el vidrio de las ventanas de los edificios de una ciudad?

Ella encuentra arte en estos patrones, formas y texturas, por lo que trata de encuadrarlos en su mente y capturarlos en sus fotos. Y a medida que la tierra gira alrededor del sol, la imagen cambia, y al caer la noche es otra cosa o desaparece por completo, hasta el siguiente amanecer cuando el edificio vuelve a ser un lienzo para la reflexión artística. Por mucho que ame la belleza que la naturaleza crea en los paisajes, la belleza creada por el hombre se puede encontrar no solo en la geometría de la arquitectura, sino también en los reflejos que puedes encontrar en cualquier edificio en cualquier día de cualquier ciudad si miras con una perspectiva diferente.
