1951年出生，1989年评审通过成为上海市美术家协会会员。 1994年12月评审通过中级美术讲师职称资格、2005年11月评审通过副高级职称资格。现为东华大学服装、艺术设计学院副教授，已从事高等艺术教学18年，担任美术基础及构成设计等一些课程，曾于 1995年和 2003年两次被评为优秀。
专业研究：作品多次参加国内外展览并发表在多本刊物上。其中油画《惜别》获第五届全国美术作品展创作奖；《光明使者》获全国美术名家金杯奖金奖；水彩画《帐中》入选第七届全国美术作品展后赴美国展出并被收藏。《皖南春雨》入选韩国 98 年世界美术大展并被收藏。 2003 年教学上对“立体构成”这门课程进行拓宽改建，列为东华大学第六期教学改建工程项目，2005年被评为校级精品课程。
