It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

J'ai choisi un cadrage vertical car la scène d'action se déroule dans la hauteur. Il s'agit d'un combat de boxe chorégraphié et interprété par deux danseurs de hip-hop.
Les lignes directrices de l'image en diagonales induisent un rythme dynamique et renforcent l'action effectuée par le boxeur agenouillé qui repousse du bras gauche son adversaire vers l'arrière. Pour être au coeur du "combat", il m'a fallu d'une part déclencher au bon moment, mais aussi figer le mouvement grâce à l'utilisation d'un temps d'exposition très rapide (1/640) me permettant ainsi, de décomposer de manière harmonieuse et très esthétique la vivacité de l'instant, de suspendre le temps.
L'équilibre de la photo excelle non seulement dans les contrastes évidents que sont la danse et la boxe opposant légèreté et douceur avec violence et brutalité mais aussi dans les similitudes que présentent l'espace scénique devenant un ring et le ring devenant à son tour un espace scénique, sans distinction.
À l'image de la vie, je révèle ici dans ma démarche photographique ce chaos continuel entre les émotions qui tour à tour nous déstabilisent et nous apaisent. Puissance et sensibilité s'unissent dans une énergie amplifiée; prendre des coups permet alors de lâcher prise pour se relever plus fort ensuite, guidé par ces perpétuels désir et besoin de progresser.
