Sergio Milani is a contemporary Italian artist and teacher who has been sharing his expertise since 1960. He began his career as a designer, collaborating with prominent Italian plastic toy brands to create new toy lines and prototypes, later working as a consultant in technical design. His annual visits to the Nuremberg International Toy Fair deepened his appreciation for craftsmanship, particularly wood, leading him to a new artistic venture.

In 1999, Sergio decided to handcraft refined painted wooden toys, focusing on creating exquisite wooden horses that embody high artistic and artisanal value. Each horse is designed with unique postures and decorative themes, transforming them into one-of-a-kind collector's items that serve as both elegant decor and educational playthings. He envisions these toys as tools for parents to introduce children to art and encourage an appreciation for valuable objects.

Sergio’s approach combines painting and sculpture, utilizing a watercolor technique that varies in dilution and is enhanced with 22-carat gold leaf. Each series of horses features distinct anatomical profiles and dedicated themes, showcasing his artistic vision. All his works are signed, authenticated with a wax seal, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, emphasizing their uniqueness.
