"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

January 15, 2025 – Sennur Üzgen
The body speaks when words fall silent.
Legs gently crossed, balanced on confident high heels.
This is not a woman hiding in the shadows — she stands center stage, choosing to be seen.
Striptease is not just a pose; it’s a whisper of desire, freedom, and solitude.
Drawn with the raw honesty of charcoal — nothing more, nothing less.
A feeling laid bare, a quiet defiance…
This piece offers an abstract interpretation of the female figure — where stance speaks louder than sensuality.
For collectors seeking a bold statement told in silence:
Striptease provokes not the gaze, but the thought.

Sennur Üzgen is the creator of Surrexpressionism, a personal artistic language shaped by untold stories of women, emotional depth, and existential themes. Her artistic practice transcends the boundaries of classical expressionism, focusing instead on repressed emotions, internal conflicts, and the unseen self.
Derived from the words “sur” (beyond) and “expressionism,” Surrexpressionism is a concept that aims not only to express what is felt but to reveal what lies hidden—those sensations that have yet to find words. Üzgen’s work creates a space where silence becomes a form of communication and invisible emotions can surface.
Her canvases predominantly portray women—strong, defiant, yet fragile. Their bodies, surrounded by aesthetics and symbols of affluence, whisper inner silences and unresolved emotions to the viewer. They are not merely figures; they are vessels of lived experiences, unspoken traumas, and unfinished sentences.
Working with acrylics, charcoal, oil pastels, and collage, Üzgen explores solitude, quiet resistance, and the hazy realm between dream and memory. These materials are not only technical tools but emotional instruments in her visual vocabulary.
Üzgen’s paintings carry a cinematic quality, inviting viewers not just to look, but to step into the scene. Each piece offers a meticulously composed atmosphere—much like a film frame—where light, composition, and emotion work together to tell a silent narrative. Her works do not merely present images; they construct visual moments that draw the audience into a suspended psychological and emotional space.
Combining the critical perspective of contemporary art with a deeply intuitive sensitivity, Üzgen’s works unfold across spatial and emotional transitions. Each painting serves as both a trace of the artist’s inner world and an echo in the viewer’s own.
Sennur Üzgen’s recent series, Cold Contacts, explores the silent tension between the physical body and emotional distance. Through figures often poised against cold, reflective surfaces like glass, she investigates themes of suppressed desire, solitude, and the fragility of human connection.
This series belongs to Üzgen’s personal movement, which she defines as Surrexpressionism—a fusion of subconscious emotion and figurative expression.
In her work, the female form is never an object but rather a carrier of inner narratives. The surface becomes a mirror, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own emotional thresholds.
Her palette, use of layered textures, and expressive brushwork offer an intimate yet unsettling stillness—one that speaks without sound.
Dividing her time between Istanbul and the Aegean coast, Üzgen occasionally resides in Germany, engaging with international art circles and audiences.
“Each of my paintings is a sound felt on the line between silence and existence.”
Sennur Üzgen is open to collaborations, exhibitions, and collectors around the world.
