It was once part of the 1990 Center for Marine Conservation summer tour and Project Reef keeper effort to save Florida reef. Later it became part of a black tie fundraiser at the Cheeca lodge to fund the Dolphin Research Center in the Florida Keys and last but not least was used to raise fund for the rebuilding of Boynton oldest schoolhouse, has now been given a new pedestal and placed in the lobby of the Boynton Beach City House. The city hired a fabricator to build this pedestal and another artist to decorate it with painted sea grass. Hard to say if this old girl's work is done, only time will tell.
