Passionné de dessin à la plume, Pierre s'est lancé depuis longtemps dans l'art algorithmique, et développe de façon continue un logiciel original de dessin vectoriel, exclusivement dédié aux travaux de SCOWCZA.
Ses estampes numériques, naguère réalisées par un traceur à plume, sont aujourd'hui imprimées sur des toiles grand format pour servir de support aux travaux de Dominique, qui intègre leur structure purement géométrique dans son oeuvre picturale.
Ils s'efforcent d'expliciter leur processus artistique et ses fondements théoriques à travers conférences et écrits, tels le Manifeste de l'Art Vectoriel, qui sera publié en 2012 dans la revue Tangente, à laquelle ils collaborent de façon régulière.
Leur oeuvre se décline en fait sous de multiples facettes : dessin, peinture, collages, photos, animations numériques, installations, performances, ...
Cette association de techniques et médias de différentes natures vise à interroger les similarités et les antagonismes entre les formes et structures imaginées par l'homme, qui se veulent régulières et d'apparence ordonnée, mais n'échappent pas aux fractures et aux effondrements, et celles de la nature, infiniment complexes et irrégulières, mais semblant témoigner d'un ordre sous-jacent.
A l'heure où la fragmentation des sociétés humaines et leur déconnection avec l'environnement atteignent un seuil critique, n'est-il pas important de se remémorer que nous formons un tout ?
