Stéphane Bourbeau was born in 1961 near Paris.
Self-taught, he soon surprised his entourage by his imagination and his aptitude for drawing, spending whole days surrounded by sheets of paper, pencils and imaginary characters.
His creative spirit and his ability for drawing, later opened him the doors of architecture, design and interior decoration.
After experiencing each one of these fields, in France and abroad, he finally returned to Paris in the late 90s, where he settled down as a furniture and interior designer. He quickly integrated the world of event architecture, and began to create and build sets for Prêt-à-Porter and Haute Couture fashion shows.
In the end of 2006, he decided to take a break from his career and moved to Lisbon some time later. Always looking for inspiration, ideas and themes to develop, he immersed himself in Surrealism, Cubism and Orphism, continuing to create, to draw, to sculpt and to paint.
He currently lives in Ponta Delgada where, inspired by the nature of the island, he begins a new adventure of expression and sharing, finally dedicating himself to his passion ... Brushes, pencils and pens of all kinds, serving his imaginary characters ...
