"BTH" my signature is the contraction of my surname, Sylvain Berthaume.
Born in 1968 in the Paris region. My career did not start under the best auspices. Unsuited to the school system, using my time more to dream and draw than to study, I took refuge in sport which was a source of openness, social ties and in painting which was my means of expression. It is naturally that I entered a Parisian plastic art school "Sornas" in 1983. I worked in various jobs, designing clothes or creating logos among others. Then I found my way in the press as artistic director for 24 years. It is in this job that I forged a solid experience of the balance of shapes and colors. I never really let go of the brush but time did not allow me to work enough to assert myself and find my way. Since 2017 I have dropped everything to devote myself mainly to art.
