Toutes ces âmes parties en sacrifice,
Tous ces humains privés de liberté,
Le temps d’une matinée massacrante
Mon cœur se resserrait au fur et à mesure que je peignais. 🩸
Sandy Madar is a self-taught painter, born on March 27, 1987, in Paris, France. In 2012, she relocated to Israel, where her artistic journey began. In 2025, she moved to Madrid, Spain, to deepen her creative exploration and engage with a broader artistic community.
With a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Paris Dauphine, Sandy originally pursued a career in finance. However, following the 2010 financial crisis, she shifted paths and found stability through real estate—an industry in which she still works.
Her entry into the art world emerged from a personal turning point in 2019, marked by emotional and existential challenges. Art became a tool for healing, self-discovery, and connection. Guided by online resources and mentorship under painter Drora Wiezman, she cultivated a visual language rooted in emotion and resilience.
Influenced by artists like Van Gogh, Georges Mathieu, and Pissarro, Sandy’s paintings reflect themes of courage, hope, and inner strength. For her, art is not just expression—it is a way to bring vitality and meaning to everyday life.
