Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Sandra Ludwig is a contemporary painter and trained, active hospital clown. She was inspired and supported in the studios of Relindis Agethen, Gerhard Foltin, and Christine Schön.
She is currently drawn to the reduction of simple drawing and portrait painting. Humans remain her favorite subject—also due to her love for her second profession as a hospital clown.
She is driven by the attempt to capture fragility and fleeting moments of emotion, which reveal the true, loving human being. Seeming trivialities thus become exciting details. Since different situations, in which moments of encounter occur, lead her to use different media, a clear stylistic direction is rather difficult. The result is thus always a search until the end, without a real end.
