I am an avid follower of science,cosmology,astrophysics,quantum mechanics,and infinity,and have devoted my entire artistic career to depicting images of the endless field of possibilities inherent in the latest theories concerning these things.I love to paint in highly articulated detail and I love the subject matter listed above and It's a true blessing to be able to marry the two together.While my paintings are not for everyone,it is an honor to paint for those who do ''get it''.Please note that most of the images presented are also available in the forms of various types of prints,mouse pads,greeting cards,post cards,and even coffee mugs,all at very reasonable prices.Custom framing is also available.Please feel free to contact me for further information and thank you for your interest.

I paint in oil and acrylic primarily on wood panel in both small and larger sizes and have been known to take as long as a year to complete a piece of art,due primarily to the fact that I love to paint in highly articulated detail.I begin with no preconceived plan,and the paintings simply seem to slowly emerge from the Multiverse and begin to direct their own creation,somewhat like creation itself seems to be doing.

Sam Del Russi originated in Newark,New Jersey and developed as an artist in the Greater New York area where he exhibited in numerous venues over the years establishing a considerable following before relocating to Taos,New Mexico in 1996.In this reknowned art community Sam decided to devote his artistic energies to his primary passion,cosmology.Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of The Rocky Mountains,Sam continues on his open ended journey through the ''Multiverse'',with it's endless field of possibilities.His oil and acrylic paintings grace the collections of numerous clients across the country and his most recent work, a series of fourteen paintings for the critically acclaimed Progressive Music album,"The Dream of the Magic Jongleur" by The Psychedelic Ensemble has earned him recognition worldwide including the "Best Artwork of Year" award from Gurt Hulshof of the highly respected Dutch Progressive Rock Pages.While Sam Del Russi's work is not for everyone, he takes great delight in the fact that his collectors are among the most intellectual,visionary and highly evolved people to be found.He cordially invites you to join him in his ongoing exploration of infinity and wishes you a most pleasant trip.

Sam's latest entry into his on going ''Multiverse'' series is nearly finished.36'' x 28'' in size and executed in oil and acrylic on wood panel,this painting is inspired by Sam's many visits to one of his favorite places on Earth.Carlsbad Caverns,New Mexico.
When completed,this piece will hang at The Indian Hills Inn in Taos,along with many other of his cosmic visions already on display.
