"Chasing Rainbows" is a celebration of vibrant hues, playful forms, and the joy of discovery. I built this piece through a process of layering and scratching, allowing colors to interact, some bold and opaque, others soft and transparent. "Chasing Rainbows" is a celebration of vibrant hues, playful forms, and the joy of discovery. I built this piece through a process of layering and scratching, allowing colors to interact, some bold and opaque, others soft and transparent. The geometric structure holds everything in place, while organic shapes bring in a sense of fluidity and warmth. This artwork is about the magic of color, the way it shifts and surprises, much like chasing a rainbow. This colorful and vibrant piece will add a touch of playful color into any space.

Samantha Malone (born 1978) is an Australian/Israeli artist currently based in Tel Aviv. Her work is inspired by geometric abstraction, cubism, and the dynamic interplay between order and chaos. Her paintings are characterized by dynamic compositions, vibrant colors and layered patterns. Through her work, she reflects on themes of fragmentation and interconnectedness, illustrating how distinct elements can coexist to create a visually compelling narrative.

Working primarily with acrylic paint, Samantha employs a mixed-media approach that includes markers, pencils, and oil sticks to create depth and texture. Her process involves layering colors and patterns, sometimes scraping back layers to reveal hidden hues beneath. This technique encourages viewers to engage more deeply with the composition. The interplay of bold shapes, organic forms, and vibrant colors invites a sense of movement and emotion, along with an element of playfulness.
