I layered over it with spray paint, oil pastels, and patterns, with bold blues and sweeping whites to create a bold and expressive artwork. All those buried layers quietly showing through add texture and unique details. [...]

I layered over it with spray paint, oil pastels, and patterns, with bold blues and sweeping whites to create a bold and expressive artwork. All those buried layers quietly showing through add texture and unique details. There are hints of pattern, color, and form emerging from beneath the surface. "What Lies Below" is about exactly that: the beauty that comes from what’s hidden.
