As a trained graphic designer and art therapist with German-American roots, I draw from a variety of influences to create my own distinct visual language. My work sits at the intersection of geometric abstraction and minimalist figuration, where clean lines, shapes, and a restrained color palette are used to evoke emotional and symbolic depth.
Originally heavily inspired by abstract and geometric styles, my focus has shifted in recent years toward a symbolic, modernist visual language, drawing influence from Art Deco and Bauhaus aesthetics. The scenes I create may appear simple at first glance, but on closer inspection, they reveal deeper stories and meanings through carefully chosen forms and symbols.
My works are mixed media on canvas, often based on photographs that I reinterpret in my own unique style. This creative process allows me to transform everyday moments into abstracted, symbolic compositions, blurring the lines between reality and minimalist design.
