Saadia Moura is a contemporary Brazilian artist living on the island of São Luís in the northeast region of Brazil. A self-taught painter, Saadia is captivated by abstract art and constantly experiments with colors, embracing her creativity without constraints. Her artistic journey began many years ago when she discovered a deep passion for painting, drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Mark Rothko, Gérard Richard, and Picasso. Saadia's love for modern and abstract art is reflected in her unique approach: she paints freely, driven by inspiration, without adhering to strict timelines or series.
Saadia's work spans a broad spectrum, as she is fascinated by all aspects of painting, from the play of time to the interplay of colors. She sees each piece as a singular expression, much like her own individuality. Her creations are characterized by clarity and simplicity, often utilizing acrylics as her primary medium. Saadia employs a variety of tools—including spatulas, squeegees, rulers, brushes, and even her own hands—to create textures and layers, daring to explore new techniques.
