As a child I would grab a white piece of paper and draw whatever realistic image caught my eye. Deep down in my heart I always knew that one day I would become an artist. Studying technical drawing as a subject at Princeton, my interest in the visual arts was stimulated and after completing matric I volunteered as an arts teacher at ‘A Little Theatre’ community project. There I taught classes of about 40 people ranging in age from six to 60-year-olds. After a year of teaching, I decided to take a break and decided to work in the construction industry where I did some work in plumbing and carpentry.
In 2004 I decided to revive my passion in art and studied in the Professional Development Programme in visual arts at the Arts and Media Access Centre (Amac). My artwork has appeared on the front pages of community newspaper "The Plainsman".
My artwork has been exhibited at the Nonjingi Art Gallery (2002), Truworths Head Office (2005) and International Cape Town Convention Centre (2005).

“Art is a form of expression, it is all about trying to communicate certain ideas regarding certain issues. I use art as a visual language to evoke certain emotions in people."
