This autoanimated relic is apparently taking his pet for a walk. Or, he may be dragging this over-sized flatworm against its will. Does a flatworm even have a will? Can they walk? It is unclear whether the relic has found this remarkable creature in the wild or animated it somehow on his own. Fortunately, the relic has shown the good sense to keep this animal on a leash. At this unusual size, they are thought to be aggressive and deceptively quick.

Recently, I began experimenting with acrylics. I have no formal training as an artist. I admire the works of Dali, Max Ernst, Dorothea Tanning, Giorgio De Chirico, and Rene Magritte, among others.
Usually, I paint it first; then think about what it all means to me. I think my current fascination with creation and re-birth is somehow connected to an increasing awareness of my own mortality. African masks interest me, and their beautiful/grotesque features often appear in my paintings.
