This is my first artwork, in which I felt that I left my mental constraints and felt free to explore my artistic journey. I have a lot of appreciation, affection and love for this piece.

The artwork can be seen as a representation of both physical and metaphysical journeys. The funnel structure is reminiscent of wormholes, known in science fiction as cosmic shortcuts that connect different parts of the universe, suggesting that the work portrays an interdimensional journey. At the same time, the piece can also be interpreted more abstractly, as a reflection on the process of navigating through the layers of human experience — where life is a series of overlapping events, leading to a deeper understanding of ourselves. ourselves and the world around us.

Detailed Analysis
Color Palette (Black, Gray and White):
The use of a monochromatic palette evokes simplicity and abstraction, allowing the focus to be on the form and movement of the work. The colors black, gray and white are often associated with the unknown, mystery and vastness of space, reinforcing the feeling of a cosmic journey. The contrast between white, which represents light and clarity, and black, which evokes darkness and depth, suggests a balance between the known and the unknown.
Visual Effect: The absence of vibrant colors allows the viewer to focus on the subtle details of the layers and strokes. The smooth transition between shades of gray creates a gradation that suggests movement and a sense of continuous flow.
Funnel-Shaped Structure:
The funnel shape is central to the work, suggesting a path or passage that narrows as it approaches the center. This shape can be seen as a symbolic representation of an inner journey or a journey into the unknown, where the viewer is gradually drawn into the core of the composition. The funnel also refers to concepts of gravity and attraction, as if it were a spatial vortex or a wormhole, where space and time bend and compress.
Visual Effect: The funnel-shaped structure creates a feeling of immersion, as if the viewer is being pulled into the center of the work. The wide edges, which narrow towards the center, increase the perception of depth, reinforcing the idea that the work is a passage to another dimension.
Strokes and Layers:
The strokes and overlapping layers that make up the work suggest continuous movement and complexity. Each layer seems to overlap the other, creating the impression that the work is in constant transformation. This can symbolize the multifaceted nature of a journey — be it physical, emotional or spiritual — in which different phases and experiences overlap and intertwine.
Visual Effect: The layers add texture and depth, increasing the feeling that the funnel is a three-dimensional tunnel that the viewer can "pass through" with their eyes. The use of lines and geometric shapes creates a visual rhythm that guides the viewer's eye towards the narrow center of the composition.

I was born and raised in São Paulo - Brazil. With a seamstress on my maternal grandmother and a painter on my paternal grandmother, I grew up surrounded by art, appreciating the artistic gifts of others, but without recognizing them in myself. This recognition occurred on one of my trips to Europe, when I felt the desire to transform my reflections and feelings into art. My intention is to invite the observer to enter the same internal labyrinths that I travel through when creating. Each work I make becomes an invitation for everyone to reveal, within themselves, what is not always on the surface.
Art is my way of connecting with the Divine, where I explore what is in my unconscious and my emotional experiences, such as happiness, anger, frustration and loneliness. Everyday experiences, from what I feel and also observe, feed my compositions. I grew up in São Paulo - Brazil, a city of intense contrasts, where nightlife, graffiti and the dramatic energy of every corner shape the souls of those who inhabit it. Therefore, references such as Eduardo Kobra, Os Gêmeos intertwine with my artistic identity, echoing the need to express chaos and urban beauty. Artistically, I am an eternal seeker, an alchemist who mixes different times and aesthetics. I drink from several sources. But I'm not content with just the present. I feel a magnetic attraction to the past, to the minds that transcended their times. Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio, Francis Bacon and Basquiat are great inspirations for my works. The fusion of these influences, which apparently belong to different worlds, gives shape to me and my art, where time dissolves and the creative spirit expands infinitely. Furthermore, my identity as an artist goes beyond visual influences and finds deep inspiration in another passion I carry: music. I confess that I am nostalgic in this field, nurturing a special love for vinyl, with its sonic textures, and for the visceral complexity of bands like Led Zeppelin, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Doors, Metallica, Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Duran Duran, Kryour, The Clash, The Police, Capital Inicial, The Cure, Simple Minds, Iron Maiden, U2, The Smiths, RHCP, CBJR, The Smashing Pupmkins...
The vibration of notes, chords and melodies intertwine with my strokes, so that each brushstroke is an intuitive response to the music that surrounds me, which in turn is chosen according to my mood. In this way, sound, feeling, shape and color merge, making each work a unique composition, which carries the essence of each piece of my inner world and what I want people to feel when they observe the final result.
