In the heart of PteroDoodle, a surreal pterodactylus reigns supreme, its wings wide open, its jagged-toothed beak frozen in an enigmatic grin. This prehistoric entity, with its elongated form and exaggerated, patterned body, is not merely a creature of the past—it has been reborn into a realm where logic bends, and organic and mechanical beings coexist.

The Pterodactylus & Its Surroundings

This bold and commanding figure is the gravitational center of the composition, yet it is far from independent. The absence of blank space means that its form is dictated by those surrounding it—its outstretched wings transform into the bodies of smaller, eager creatures, its legs merge with bizarre hybrids, and its piercing gaze is echoed by the countless eyes that surround it.

Some of these creatures appear to cling onto the pterodactylus, riding its movement, feeding off its energy, or perhaps trying to become part of it. Others seem to be whispering cryptic messages into its ears, while some lurk beneath its wings, either in admiration or fear.

A Shared Existence – Eyes, Teeth & Limbs Entwined

A closer look reveals that the pterodactylus shares features with its neighboring beings—some of its eyes are not uniquely its own but are borrowed or lent to others, creating an optical illusion of interconnected vision. The same occurs with the teeth, limbs, and even the textured skin of the characters, where one creature’s body seamlessly becomes the framework of another.

Its claws appear half-formed, as if they are still morphing or in the process of being claimed by other creatures. Is the pterodactylus in control, or is it being consumed by the chaos? The answer remains elusive, leaving the viewer to interpret its fate.

The Pterodactylus as a Symbol

More than just a prehistoric beast, this pterodactylus embodies evolution, adaptation, and the merging of different worlds—past, future, organic, and mechanical. It is a being that refuses to be confined by history, instead breaking into the surreal, futuristic unknown, where it must negotiate its space with the countless entities that emerge alongside it.

This makes PteroDoodle more than just a painting—it is a visual allegory of coexistence, transformation, and creative entanglement, perfect for those who appreciate intricate storytelling in art.

Own the Chaos – Make PteroDoodle Yours

This piece belongs in a space that celebrates bold artistic expression and imaginative depth. If you want an artwork that constantly shifts under your gaze, revealing new connections and characters, PteroDoodle is the perfect addition to your collection.

The Fantabulous Universe of RONY

Illustrator and character designer Ronald loves to explore the universe, people, nature, culture, spirituality, and visual arts. He creates fantastic characters inspired by Doodle Art and Pattern Design, without overthinking, letting his hand wander over a blank sheet. He draws inspiration from the world of animals, monsters, aliens or robots, thus consolidating his hybrid, delirious and crazy universe.

"I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, a beautiful country rich in artistic expressions of all kinds, where I became an industrial designer in 1993. After a few years designing POS material for various brands, I worked as a graphic designer and designer for Maloka, an interactive museum, developing scientific exhibitions."

In 2001, Ronald moved to Switzerland to study web design and 3D animation. "I currently live in a beautiful village in the countryside with my family, and I have goats, sheep, and cows in the nearby fields! After several years as a web designer, I felt deep inside that I needed to fulfill one of my dreams: to share my characters and illustrations with the world. Thus, in 2008, I dedicated myself to illustrating in a colorful cartoon style with a touch of fantasy, a pinch of twisted, and a lot of humor!

"Fascinated a few years later by Doodle Art and Pattern Design, I joyfully integrated them into my creations where empty spaces are rare, where there are eyes observing everywhere, which allows for surprising, exploring many details, and discovering other hidden characters. It is possible that two or even three characters share the same eye or hand."

His main goal is to ensure that people allow themselves to be surprised, explore, and have fun discovering all the details and camouflaged creatures. He also wants to inspire and awaken the artist within you, inviting everyone to create their own Doodles and let themselves be carried away by the pleasure, by the therapeutic flow of drawing with the heart, without overthinking.

He also invites companies to contact him to create universes reflecting their brand, products, events, and services. He invites them to imagine with him a rich visual world inspired by Doodle art, unique and personalized, which will be repeated to decorate, attract attention, convey key messages, captivate the audience, and consolidate the company's identity.
