Roi comes from the unhappy country of Sweden, currently residing in a lonely ghetto in the industrial city of Gothenburg. Sweden is a very conformist, collectivist society where no individualism is allowed, and this fact has of course affected the art of Roi. He makes comics, illustrations and paintings. His goal is to capture the spirit of mankind, our suffering.. And, of course, to make fun of it ! A satire against humanity..
