Pictorul Calin Pojar s-a nascut in 24 Iulie 1939 la Cluj.
Copilaria si-a petrecut-o la Baiut fiind atent educat de catre bunicii sai.
Este absolvent al liceului din Dej dupa care urmeaza cursurile Academiei de arta din Cluj.
Din 1969 participa la toate expozitiile organizate de filialele U.A.P Cluj si Maramures.

CĂLIN Pojar – short biography
Calin Pojar was born on July 24, 1939 in Cluj.
Studies in Baia Mare and Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Fine Arts of the PI.
1969 Cluj Judeţenele exhibit at fine art, sometimes being present in the annual summaries băimărene. Participated in many group exhibitions, celebrations, anniversary, most held at the Museum of Art in Cluj-Napoca. Shown in Cluj ’70 exhibition opened at the Dalles Hall, Bucharest [1970], and the International Festival shows Lucian Blaga, Cluj-Napoca [1991]. Between 1965-1975 was constant concern graphs, illustrating various magazines such as Tribune, Star or books related to civilization Maramures. It works in museum collections and State in Romania, but also in private collections in Romania, Italy, Germany, Spain, Norway, Austria, Greece, Israel, USA
