Larisa Churkina ist eine zeitgenössische russische Bildhauerin. Churkina begann ihre Karriere in der Obraztsov Puppet Theatre Werkstatt, wo sie Skulpturen und Kunstpuppen herstellte. Seit 2017 kreiert sie auch Objekte für renommierte Moskauer Theater. Ihr Spezialgebiet im Laufe der Jahre war die Porträtmalerei.
Derzeit widmet sie sich der Erstellung einer Reihe von Persönlichkeitsporträts von Rockkünstlern. Die Skulpturen von John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse und Paul McCartney wurden aus dem zeitgenössischen amerikanischen Acrylgips Ecoresin geformt, der wie Porzellan aussah.
Larisa Churkina wurde 1965 in Russland geboren. Sie ist Mitglied der International Federation of Artists in Russia.
