Alfonso Rocchi was born in 1951 in the small Alpine town of Villa d'Ogna (BG) and currently lives not far from there in the province of Bergamo (Italy).
From a young age, he showed remarkable talent in drawing and painting. Despite this, he attended a scientific high school and pursued a degree in civil engineering. However, by the late '70s, he made the most significant turning point in his life, devoting himself entirely to art.
Since then, his life has been a continuous exploration in the field of artistic expression.
Being him a strongly individualistic personality, he has never tolerated mentors, preferring an entirely personal artistic language.
