Roberto Scala is an Italian artist born in Sorrento  Italy. He completed his art studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan in 1992, where he studied under notable figures like Luciano Fabro, Bruno Benuzzi, and Diego Esposito. Known for his contributions to contemporary art, Scala works in various media including painting, sculpture, visual poetry, and mail art. His work has been featured in over 990 exhibitions worldwide, and he has participated in international projects like the Venice Biennale and the London Biennial.Currently, Scala lives in Milan, where he teaches Art and Image. His pieces often integrate elements of visual poetry and experimental formats, reflecting his dynamic approach to modern art forms and collaborative projects with other artists and cultural institutions.Scala’s career highlights include exhibitions across Europe, the United States, and Asia, with work showcased in venues like the Guido Genzelle Museum in Bruges and the Museo de Filatelia in Mexico City, among others. He is actively involved in mail art—a networked form of art exchange popular in avant-garde circles—which allows for greater interaction with artists globally
