"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

My art is about evoking calm and positive emotions in viewers. I create a high-quality photograph of inspiring experiences from the natural world, then use individual controls available in contemporary AI-based photo processing software. These controls are my brushes. I strive to create high-definition images to grace spaces where people live and work.
I was born and raised in South Texas, where I spent my childhood catching frogs and turning over rotted logs to look for beetles. I was a shy child who felt entirely at home among wild things. I remember standing alone under dark Texas skies, feeling a profound connection with the universe and everything in it. I yearned to know how it all fits together and how it works.
After military service, I took advantage of my educational benefits and started college in my late twenties. I studied physics as an undergraduate and earned a BS degree. I attended graduate school at Texas A&M University and completed my Ph.D. in Cosmic Ray Physics there. I enjoyed a career in teaching and research as part of the Texas A&M University System. I retired in 2011 with my love for the natural world intact and ready for artistic expression.
Since retiring, I’ve developed my skills as a wildlife photographer, and my work appears in several coffee-table books and calendars and hangs on walls around the country. In 2021, I helped judge perhaps the most prestigious wildlife photo contest in North America, the Wildlife in Focus contest.
I love using modern tools to help transform my photography into images that carry my viewers to the places and creatures in front of my lens. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.
