Rob Koedijk is a contemporary Dutch artist with a background in education from the Academy for Art and Industry (AKI) in Enschede. In his professional life, he has been involved in designing interiors for both the business and private sectors.
Koedijk draws significant inspiration from the work of the Cobra group and the late painter Gerriet Postma. He is particularly captivated by Postma’s expression and bold use of primary colors. In his studio, which is open for visits by appointment, Koedijk continuously explores new materials and techniques, pushing the boundaries of his art and embracing new challenges.
His paintings often feature a rich combination of materials and vibrant colors, with bold brushstrokes being a key characteristic of his style. Inspired by his daily experiences and activities, Koedijk’s work reflects his ongoing journey of discovery.
His art has garnered attention both from the business world and private collectors, and his pieces are displayed in various locations across the Netherlands and abroad. Koedijk is also increasingly showcasing his work in galleries. He is registered as an artist at the Center for Visual Arts in Drenthe, under the name Robusier.
