Dutch born John Gravemaker (1956) has been a creative artist whole his life. His early career as an internationally renowned hairdresser lead him into wig making. Letting hands create what his eyes perceive is the driving force in his career. When customers of the salon commented on his decorative crystal art objects he decided to continue to focus on crystal art. With a unique eye for shapes and structures, he carves out a wide range of unique designs around existing or unique base models. 

Rizon Ahmed (1987) is the craftsman and designer of Rijon Crystal Art turning designs into reality with endless patience, dedication and skill. Since childhood he saw art and beauty in small things around him: daily life and nature. Starting out life with art craft skills like paper modelling, drawings and embroidery he is well trained in patience and perfection. Coupled with a fascination for classic designers like Chanel, he creates crystal art objects with a ‘twist’, a wink of the eye to contemporary today.
