I grew up along the Solent in Hampshire, England and I started drawing from and early age and always did better at art than anything else. I studied illustration at art college and now at the age of 50+ I am creating works pretty much every week. I try and work from my own photography through my travels around the world. I work mainly in Watercolour, but also love gouache and acrylic. I am inspired by nature, urban scenes and always try and capture something different. I am always learning and willing to learn, be it new techniques or improving my art. I am an impatient artist, always wanting to start the next peice, but I always make sure I finish what I am doing first, annoying as it is!
