Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It was my mother who taught me to look ... to see the organization of a table. What were the techniques used to bring life, strength, rhythm, power to a work or, conversely, how to go about making the opposite effect. She had learned to paint with Pierre Descombes, whose palette I particularly appreciate. (A piece is dedicated to her at the Lyon art museum, place des terreaux.)
For almost thirty years, painting has served me as an outlet. As much the drawing obeys rules that it seems difficult to circumvent, as much painting offers me the dimension to express my feelings and I hope to share them with you.
