It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Die mich umgegebene Natur, Tiere, Menschen und Landschaften sind zentrale Inspirationen für meine Arbeiten. Als solche ist meine künstlerische Praxis untrennbar mit der Erde, meiner Umgebung und meinen Erfahrungen verbunden. Hauptsächlich arbeite ich mit Öl- und Pastellfarben auf Leinwand oder Papier.
Meine Liebe zur Malerei fand ich wohl durch meinen Großvater, den Maler Anton Mahringer. Bei ihm im Atelier habe ich als Kind viele Stunden verbracht und durfte ihm zuschauen und natürlich auch malen.
Ich arbeite meist Ölfarben, wobei der Schaffensprozess schon mit dem Bespannen des Keilrahmens mit Leinen beginnt. In der Tradition alter Meister grundiere ich mit Gesso. Schon bei diesen Vorbereitungsarbeiten sehe ich das Motiv vor mir. Die Ölfarben werden Schicht für Schicht aufgetragen bis ich mit meinem Werk zufrieden bin. Nach einer längeren Trocknungsphase wird das Bil noch gefirnist.
Neben der Ölmalerei arbeite ich auch gerne mit Pastellkreiden, Tusche und Gouache an Zeichnungen.
