Graduated in Visual Arts from the University of Brasília (UnB), Raquel Pellicano is a photographer and visual artist known for her unique artistic voice and her experimental approach to the photographic language.
Her artistic work spans various genres, including nude photography, portrait, fashion, advertising, and travel, showcasing a sophisticated blend of creativity and technical mastery. At 37, Raquel is a co-founder of f/508 Lisboa and the Espaço f/508 de Cultura, where she teaches courses and workshops and coordinates the photography studio, fostering a new generation of visual artists.
In 2018, she created the innovative postgraduate program Photography as a Medium for Imagination, solidifying her role as a reference in contemporary photographic practices. Her editorial work has been featured in renowned publications such as Vogue, Trip, VIP, LATAM Vamos!, Playboy, and Traços. She has also shared her expertise at events such as a lecture on photography and portraiture at Fnac in 2012.
Her collaborative projects span various platforms, including participation in the podcast Filosofia de Bar with Mayã Fernandes in 2020, and being featured in the acclaimed project Coleção Particular by Raisa Pina.
Now based in Lisbon, Raquel continues to expand her creative presence throughout Europe.
