This painting is been done by using acrylic paint and canvas with various processes of application through several layers. It took approximately 7months time from conceptualization to the execution.
This painting is a journey in the process of developing and realizing Art. Here I am sharing the sublime journey. I started the painting with a feeling in my heart wondering how the flowers, grasses, animals and entire nature felt in Vrindavan when Radha-Krishna roamed over the soil, then on Krishna’s departure what they must have gone through. The entire nature became melancholy and prepared a necklace with the pearls that flowed out of Abhisarika Radha’s gloomy eyes. Everything was frozen except the wind that was carrying Krishna to every creature’s heart...even the sun while changing its hue was careful not to break the stillness…
There was a sudden discovery. Abhisarika Radha felt Krishna everywhere. The entire nature became Krishna. So intense was her love mixed with Bhakti and Ananda that she was dazzling like a full moon. For the first time the Nightingale looked down to swallow the rays from the alluring moon. The water of Yamuna was sparkling through the floating Kadamba leaves. Radha merged with Ananda. Love was victorious and radiated everywhere in nature, symbolized by the shaking of the feathers of the peacock. Vrindavan remains Vrindavan with the same amazing light. The journey continues …
The painting will be ready to be hanged.

I started painting when I was 5 years old. At the age of 12 I was able to handle watercolor and oil colors proficiently under the guidance of Chandrasekhar N. a renowned and accomplished artist of India. Later I joined DMS Fine Art Academy for my BFA and then MVA. Then I moved to Mumbai, the hub of Art in India and settled. In between around 10 years I worked in the field of media and animation.
I always tried to express my emotions towards life and truth through my paintings and experimented to depict it through the language of art. I observe everything around me and try to portray what appeals me with loosely used brushstrokes. I love to use watercolor, oil and acrylic but sometime work with pigments.
Some of my works basically deal with Indian aesthetics which is evident from the economy of lines used and simplicity of expression. Sometime the paintings display a subtle understanding of spiritualism and offer a bridge between realism and abstraction (rational and irrational world / tangible and the intangible world). I emphasize on Indian principles making extensive use of Indian motifs. What I try to express is 'Navarasa', the nine expressions
