Rafael De Pool, born in 1963 in Caracas, Venezuela, is a contemporary artist currently based in Paris. Since 1982, his work has been driven by an exploration of humanity's origins and evolution, framed through philosophical and conceptual perspectives. His art reflects a profound belief that all creation stems from nature, asserting, "Man has never created anything. Everything is a product of nature; I am nature."
Rafael honed his craft by studying screen printing under the guidance of Esteban Castillo, a renowned Venezuelan painter, in Paris. He also expanded his knowledge as a free auditor in the visual arts courses at the University of Vincennes–St. Denis.
Through his artistic journey, Rafael continues to manifest his deep connection to nature and his conceptual reflections on humanity in his diverse body of work.
