I grew up in an artistic family: my mother Natalya Zhilina and my older brother Dmitry Shagin are artists, and my stepfather Boris Smelov is a photographer.

I worked as a photographer at the Russian Museum, the collection of which today contains my work.
I has exhibited in the USA, France, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Croatia, Poland, Belgium.

I have received international recognition as a photographer.

For 17 years I have been passionate about painting and I devoted all of myself to creating minimalistic and compositionally verified canvases.
