O artista belga Jan Keteleer (JanKé) trabalha com diferentes estilos, com base no seu interesse pela arte clássica e pela arte moderna/contemporânea. A arte antiga é um dos seus interesses, mas também pode encontrar exemplos do seu trabalho em pop art e impressionismo. Se percorrer o portefólio de Jan Keteleer, encontrará belas cenas da natureza, imagens pictóricas de animais ou nus baseados na arte pop.
Depois de anos a trabalhar em fotografia comercial, o seu interesse voltou-se para a fotografia artística a preto e branco. Projectos como Speechless, Silent Dialogues e Roots with Taboo trouxeram-lhe fama. Inspirou-se nos problemas da sociedade multicultural da Bélgica, na coexistência de diferentes grupos nacionais e étnicos, na questão da barreira linguística e na falta de diálogo entre os "antigos" (a população nativa) e os "novos" belgas (os imigrantes).
Actualmente, dedica-se inteiramente à pintura digital. Utilizando técnicas clássicas como o acrílico e o pastel, cria elementos individuais que são depois reunidos e acabados digitalmente.
JanKé atribui grande importância ao significado social das suas obras e integra-as no contexto dos espaços públicos (estações, aeroportos e transportes públicos), levando o espectador a reagir e a reflectir. Os seus projectos receberam o apoio da organização Sprakeloos, que pretende utilizar a arte para provocar o debate sobre questões sociais.
Realizou numerosas exposições na Bélgica (em Antuérpia, Bruges, Lier, Lovaina e Gante), nos EUA (em Dallas e São Francisco) e na Polónia (em Cracóvia).
