Richard Raveen Chester é um artista multifacetado. Ele desenvolveu uma nova forma de impressão usando uma técnica digital e sobrepondo camadas em papel de arte pesado. Ele é especialista em impressão contemporânea em cores simultânea e contínua. O artista retrabalha a impressão após a transferência da marouflage em papel de arte pesado para obter o efeito artístico.
A sua obra inspira-se sobretudo nas suas caminhadas pelo campo e nas sensações ou sentimentos que experimenta ao fazê-las e que procura partilhar com os espectadores das suas obras.
Richard Raveen Chester nasceu em 1954 na Índia. Graduou-se como Bacharel em Belas Artes em Comunicação Visual pela Delhi University School of Art em 1976. Atualmente vive e trabalha em Angers (França).
