The painting is part of the series "LETTERS" Each painting in this series contains one key of the keyboard, which I shattered when I decided to quit my corporate job to create my own art. My intention is that the light falling on the painting should be a co-author of the work. That's why the composition contains three-dimensional elements, so that the shadows traveling across the painting during the day are like an extra layer of paint. In this work I also refer to the subjective perception of time - the passing of time. The painting contains elements of "temporary" paintings that I create only for moments and present to a narrow audience. I want only the memory enchanted in fragments placed in "prime" paintings to remain after them.

Przemysław Chochół is a composer of three-dimensional paintings. The three-dimensionality of the artworks makes them change during the day depending on the light source. Shadows are like additional layers of paint. He treats his paintings like pieces of music in which all elements compose a coherent whole. The artist's main inspiration is wood, which is an inseparable element of each painting. He treats chisels, saws and milling machines on an equal footing with brushes, spatulas and rollers. In his works, he focuses on unobvious solutions. Hidden slogans, fragments of other paintings, moving elements are just some of the forms of expression used in the artist's work. He juxtaposes chaotic splashes of paint with ordered geometric shapes to create coherent compositions. In his works, he refers to the passage of time, the transience, the transience of the moment.
