Prometheus belongs to the Titan family of gods
During an animal sacrifice, he resorts to a ruse to deceive Zeus; He leaves only the worthless parts of the sacrificial animal to him and keeps the edible meat for the people, since they are his protégés.
As punishment for this, Zeus, enraged, denies the mortals possession of fire.
Prometheus then steals fire from the gods and brings it to people.
Therefore, on the orders of the father of the gods, he is tied up and forged in the wasteland of the Caucasus Mountains.
An eagle regularly visits him there and eats from his liver, which then constantly renews itself.
As a bringer of fire and teacher, Prometheus is the originator of human civilization.
