These "Big Heads" are created from an "ecological" material made 100% by the artist. It is Paper Pulp made from recycled newspaper, paper glue and water. The caricatures are sculpted from this wet material, in the mass like clay and we obtain pieces which, after drying, have the lightness of paper and the solidity of wood. To the touch, this material is “Warm” and soft like velvet. The sculpture thus obtained is gouache, varnished and the hair made from tinted tow is implanted strand by strand before being styled. These Caricatures are in 2.5 // 3 scale.
