when not busy earning a living, my artistic pursuits have mostly been in the fields of music and photography. in retirement i have turned my attention to film making, I haven't worked much in the medium of painting , so feel eminently qualified to describe myself as a naive artist. i firmly believe that the subconscious symbolism present in any piece of art gives a better indication of the artist than any one hundred and twenty word biography (even if one used all three thousand words allowed. my artistic training continues with every day lived . i am totally self-taught, i hated art lessons at school (doesn't everyone) - maybe my loss - i hated french lessons as well - so am self taught on that subject as well
