Biography
Philip Hearsey is a contemporary British sculptor. Hearsey is driven by an instinctive impulse to advance at his own pace and focus on building things, rather than engaging in certain theories. He uses his expertise in sandcasting to create sculptures that engage the quality of bronze as a noble material in and of itself, transforming observations and visualizations into three-dimensional realities. Hearsey's work is distinguished by its brilliant simplicity, fascinating designs, and tactile feel.
