Das Ruhe ausstrahlende Gemälde zeigt eine surreal anmutende abstrakte Meerlandschaft. Grünblaues Meer mit einer Küste in Orange-, Gelb-, Violet-Farbtönen. Ich habe diese geheimnisvolle Landschaft frei aus meinen Gefühlen heraus gemalt. Das Ergebnis hat bei mir die Assoziation zu der dem gleichnamigen fantastischen Roman von Stanislav Lem hervorgerufen. Solaris handelt von der Begegnung der Menschen mit außerirdischem Leben – aber auch von der mit sich selbst.
Das Bild wurde 2023 in Einzelausstellungen in Göttingen und Bad Hersfeld ausgestellt. Es hat einen lasierten Schattenfugenrahmen aus Holz.
