RECENT MILESTONE:
Pearle won a Special Recognition Award at the 4th Annual “SUMMER 555” International Art Competition & Exhibition held last July 5, 2022, organized by Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery, based in Sta. Fe, NM. The gallery received a total of 745 entries from 23 different countries from around the world including 30 different states and the District of Columbia. Since then, she's been actively participating in group exhibitions, her most recent one opened last January 14, 2024. Last December 2023, Pearle was one of the artists invited to participate in the first and historical collaborated event by The Ballet Philippines and Pinto Art Museum, where she showcased five (5) of her works.
MEDIUM:
She's always been fond of textures which inspired her to concentrate on 2D mixed-media pieces that are predominantly created with paint and wires. But her "textures" are not limited to the materials she uses; her paint strokes and lines would often show the same interesting and "uneven" finish to create the appropriate textures and layers required to captivate her audience. Her works show a lot of depth which makes her art pieces uniquely stand out.
BACKGROUND:
Pearle graduated in 1988 from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Visual Communications.
