He is a self-taught artist who immersed himself in the world of photography in 2001. During his formative years, he studied individually under the guidance of Vasily Fetisov, one of the leading photographers in Yekaterinburg.
In 2008, Pavel began to travel extensively, which sparked his interest in landscape photography. Since 2011, he has organized master classes and photo tours across the globe, visiting stunning locations such as Iceland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Scotland, Norway, Greece, New Zealand, and Bolivia, among others. His work has garnered attention and has been featured in numerous publications, including the esteemed National Geographic Traveler. Additionally, he held several personal exhibitions in 2003 and 2012, showcasing his artistic vision.
Pavel operates a spacious photo studio in Prague, where he has cultivated a vibrant community of photographers. From 2016 to 2020, he organized two annual photography festivals, “Prague Take Away” and “Interphotocamp,” further solidifying his impact on the local photography scene.
His achievements in photography have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including two gold medals, one silver, and three bronze medals at the Epson Pano Awards in 2017, as well as seven bronze medals in 2020. For Pavel, photography serves as a powerful medium to convey the beauty, fragility, and wonder of the world around us. He believes that capturing the fleeting moment is invaluable and aims to share the vibrations of those moments with those who might have missed them.
Pavel's philosophy centers around the idea that no one can draw as beautifully as nature itself. He strives to interpret beauty with a delicate balance, appreciating the nuances of nature without exaggeration while ensuring that its rich palette is not overshadowed.
