Paul Laurenzi's artistic journey began in the south of France, where he participated in various exhibitions and painting fairs between 1987 and 1991. During this period, he also explored other art forms, such as illustration, packaging, posters, and book covers.
It was in 1991 that he found himself exhibited in a gallery for the first time, alongside the works of Bernard Buffet. Following a solid success allowing him to access the professional status of painter, he had a series of solo and group exhibitions in different galleries, scattered throughout the major cities of the south of France.
Then in 1994, he held a solo exhibition at the erotic bookstore-gallery Les Larmes D'Eros in Paris, accompanied by the publication of an illustrated booklet, entitled "L'Amante Religieuse" (now a "collector's item"). There he met several renowned artists, such as Alex Varenne, Gilles Berquet, Hubert de Lartigue, Jean Pierre Ceytere and Marc Caro.
In the following years, he still exhibited in various French galleries but also in Switzerland. He continued his artistic collaborations in various fields such as television and literature: rental of works for television series, guest on the show "La Grande Famille" on Canal + etc…. In addition, two of his paintings will be used to create the covers of the reissue of the novel "Emmanuelle" by "La Musardine" editions. Then it is the cinema which calls on his talents: One of his paintings will appear in the film by Cédric Klapisch "Ni pour, ni contre".
Paul Laurenzi, whose work is now very present on the Internet and social networks, exhibits regularly, notably in Paris and Brussels where he meets Tanino Liberatore. He also carries out commissions for Internet users, individuals residing in France, the United States, Canada, Australia, China, etc.
His rich and varied artistic work has explored for almost forty years diverse and captivating themes where the feminine prevails, by turns wise or sulphurous, but always represented with great sensuality.
