I stood on top of the tower in Dallas known as "Reunion Tower", and did a sketch of the city from up high. Using that and a photo reference, I completed the painting in oils in the studio. Patty Rodgers was born in Chicopee, MA, 1956 and spent time at the families second home in North Truro on Cape Cod. There, her exposure to many art galleries and enrollment at a private art school, fired her ambition to be an artist. 

Patty is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Simmons U., and Central CT State U. Patty has been an active exhibiting painter since graduation from RISD in 1981. She has a dual career as a painter and guitarist with both studios in her home in North Texas. 

Patty's art sales have grown since joining the online art market in 2017. Collectors all across the U.S. and in 7 different countries, own Patty's work.
