Biography
Patrick Egger, a contemporary and award-winning Swiss painter, embarked on his artistic journey at the threshold of his sixties while residing in the picturesque Marécottes nestled in the Mont-Blanc massif. It was here that the world of painting, like the grandeur of the mountains surrounding him, unveiled itself to Egger.
The splendor of the landscapes, where the mountains reign supreme, became the wellspring of inspiration for Patrick. Initially drawn to the expressive potential of charcoal and pastel, he eventually found his artistic voice in the vibrant medium of acrylic painting.
In each stroke of his brush, Patrick Egger manifests the serenity and joy that art brings to his soul. His paintings become visual hymns to the places that captivate him, embodying an unwavering quest for sensations tied to the beauty inherent in these landscapes.
